01 / 10 · The Problem
Interior professionals drown in tool chaos.
A single client deck typically passes through 5–8 disconnected apps — losing fidelity, time and trust at every handoff. Designers spend more time on tools than on design.
90%
of a typical client project goes to tool management. Only 10% remains for actual design.

02 / 10 · The Solution
One workflow, from SketchUp model to shared link.
PresentTool™ lives inside SketchUp as a compact side-panel. One plugin orchestrates the whole journey — from briefing to a shareable presentation — grouped into four phases the client recognises at a glance.
01 Prepare Brief · Moodboard · 3D objects
02 Imagine Stills · Walkthrough · Motion
03 Tell Presentation · Guided tour
04 Sell Quote
1
Brief
Paste client notes. Extracts style, budget & vibe automatically.

04 / 10 · Product
Architecture built for scale from day one.
Plugin-first, cloud-powered. Each layer is replaceable and vendor-agnostic. The same backend will serve Revit, AutoCAD and Rhino plugins without re-engineering.
Plugin
SketchUp .rbz extension — thin UI layer that reads the model and calls the API. Ruby + HtmlDialog.
Backend
Cloudflare Worker + D1 + R2 + KV. Platform-agnostic — future CAD plugins connect to the same API.
Rendering
Gemini (image gen + briefing), Meshy (3D furniture), Veo (video). Vendor-swappable, no lock-in.
Web
Cloudflare Pages — viewer, storytelling, dashboard, docs, demo. Global CDN, zero cold-starts.
Competitive moat
- Moodboard as visual anchor — deterministic style consistency across all outputs
- Scene coaching + quality gating — no "generic" look passes through
- Storytelling link virality — every shared link is a free lead with 12% sign-up rate
- Platform-agnostic backend — v2/v3 reach new CAD markets at near-zero marginal cost
05 / 10 · Competition
Nobody covers the full workflow.
Every competitor covers one step. PresentTool™ is the only player combining SketchUp-native, rendering, walkthrough and client sharing in a single plugin.

08 / 10 · Risks & Mitigations
Honest about what could break.
No pitch is complete without naming the risks. For each we have a mitigation path — or a fallback vendor ready.
HIGH
API dependency · Veo, World Labs
Vendor·Single point of failure
Veo (Google) and World Labs are the heaviest cost drivers and determine output quality for cinematic clips and scene generation. Outages or price increases directly impact gross margin.
Mitigation
Multi-vendor abstraction in render engine — Sora, Runway and Pika as fallbacks. Circuit breaker with auto-retry. Vendor price monitor with alerts >15% delta.
HIGH
SketchUp platform risk
Platform·Distribution channel
We build on SketchUp's Extension Warehouse. Trimble can change the SDK, adjust pricing or launch a competing feature.
Mitigation
Plugin-portable design — core logic lives in the cloud, not the plugin. Roadmap for Revit/AutoCAD/Rhino proves portability within 18 months.
MED
Render output quality
Product·Output fidelity
Clients may experience subpar output when style-anchoring fails on specific materials or complex scenes.
Mitigation
Materialisation test required in onboarding + free credit refund for unusable output (1 re-run). Style anchor iteratively improved via user feedback.
MED
Slow adoption · learning curve
Go-to-market·Activation
Interior designers are not used to taking workflow tools seriously. 5-minute onboarding is the critical threshold.
Mitigation
Demo site without login · interactive walkthrough of a sample project. Storytelling links are viral — every shared link is a free lead with 12% sign-up rate.
MED
API costs > modelled
Unit economics·Margin compression
Heavy users (10+ Veo clips/month) could inadvertently push below cost if vendor prices rise.
Mitigation
Credit prices include margin — €0.18–€0.30/credit vs €0.02–€0.11 vendor cost. Per-org spend cap + warning at 80% credit budget.
LOW
Data security · GDPR
Compliance·Trust
Client models and interior photos are sensitive data. A breach would immediately destroy trust.
Mitigation
No permanent storage at external vendors — data is sent per run and deleted after output. GDPR data-export & delete API live. EU-only hosting (AMS).
